Hometown: NE Ohio, U.S.
Best quotes from her story: “I am now blessed with having experience behind my name. My websites are filled with dozens of articles and videos to help my clients navigate the sometimes arduous task of home buying or selling. My business is now built with intent.”
“Most people wonder what their legacy will be after they are ‘gone.’ I believe one’s legacy is developed and created everyday of their lives. Mine is no exception.”
Mary’s business philosophy:“I attribute my foundational business to my consistency of ‘rinse and repeat’. I keep in touch with clients through gift-giving, handwritten personalized notes, coffee cards, and delicious cookies. Many of my clients consider me a friend and I’ve watched their lives
mature and their children grow up to adulthood. I regularly receive calls with inquiries
for advice, outside of real estate. This mutual trust has been built over the years by
personal contact rather than relying upon some third-party marketing company. I knew
I’d rather rely on myself than others to get the job done. In addition, I learned how to
use the word ‘no’. If we are not mutually compatible, then we move on. I’m keeping
things simple and effective for all concerned.”
“Mary Locy was recommended to us by friends who had previously worked with her. She was always professional and hard working on our behalf. Our home sold very quickly and she worked tirelessly to find a home that worked for us. I felt she always had our best interest in mind. She listened carefully and applied her experience to helping us the best way possible. I felt I could ask her professional opinion and trusted her recommendations. During the closing process she was vigilant and extremely proactive in making sure we closed in a timely manner. She was with us every step of the way and always responsive to emails, texts, and calls any day of the week. I will continue referring and hope to work with Mary in the future.”
“Mary is a wonderful person to work with. There are so many details to take care of when selling a home and she is the best at staying on top of them and completing them on time. We couldn’t have done this without her help; she made the process much easier. She is knowledgeable, very personable and organized. If we ever have to sell a home again, I would choose to have Mary as our agent.”
